Publisha is working on getting your magazine into even more of your readers’ favourite places. Having already developed Publisha for iPad, the Kindle and other e-readers are next in line. We listen carefully to our customers, so please tell us if you have ideas for more useful places to get your content seen.
As your magazine and following grows, you will probably consider where you can take it next, and whether a printed magazine would be viable. With Publisha, you will be able to try this without the financial risk of huge print runs and unsold returns. Publisha will create an easy to read, well laid out PDF version of your magazine, available to print on demand. We’ll negotiate the best print rates, and you will only print what you know you will sell.
If you have content that others need, why not sell it through Publisha’s content syndication platform? Yet another way to monetize your new magazine start-up, the Publisha system manages the process of selling your articles to appropriate third parties.
Publisha will also in time allow you to sell merchandise related to your magazine from your own publication platforms.
Publisha’s analytics tool will provide you with detailed information on how much money each article is earning you through advertising, affiliate links and any other tools you may be utilizing. This will help guide your content creation, knowing exactly what readers and advertisers want.
Publisha is further developing the advertising serving platform, to offer aggregated adverts across the Publisha magazine network. This means we can match advertisers to your niche publication, according to their specified demographic requirements and reader interests. So whereas today you create and manage your own advertising campaigns, with the new ad serving platform we can take care of finding your advertisers for you. Of course you have the option to continue managing all your advertising yourself, or to just use the aggregated ad serving tool for any unsold advertising inventory.
Another feature coming soon is an interface that allows advertisers to set up their own adverts in your publication – under your control - reducing even further the hassle of managing ad sales and allowing you to concentrate on creating great content!
If you don’t want any advertising in your magazine, or you’d rather handle everything yourself, you will be able to opt out of us serving ads on your publication for a reasonable monthly fee.
Your readers’ comments and ratings from one platform will soon automatically appear on each of the integrated platforms, encouraging your reader base to expand as your content does.
Whilst comments can only be shared on Facebook at launch, later versions of Publisha will allow readers to place and share comments also on your website.
Publisha will provide more advanced content integration from your Wordpress blog, Tumblr, Twitter, Ping and Facebook Fan page for live updates across your magazine platforms. Articles from your blog will be imported via RSS feeds or live updates made directly from your regular blogging and microblogging sites. Content from your Publisha dashboard will also have the ability to be published to Wordpress, Tumblr, Ping etc.
Choose your look from our specially designed templates and develop your publication brand with personal touches such as your own logo. In time we’ll offer you further customization options.
